Ryde Secondary College is a NSW Government 7-12 coeducational high school built on proud academic, creative, sporting and social traditions. The College's statement of purpose is to create a dynamic, collaborative educational environment, where the individual is valued and positive learning outcomes are achieved. Students are provided with an array of learning opportunities to enable them to achieve their academic, creative, physical and social potentials. The comprehensive nature of Ryde Secondary College is a feature of the school where students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of abilities work together in a caring and supportive environment. An academically selected student cohort of two classes (60 students) in each of Years 7 to 12 is being established, starting with Year 7 in 2002. The College culture is enriched by the inclusion of a Special Education Unit, where some students are integrated into mainstream elective classes in line with the school's policy of inclusion. All students are supported by programs designed to maximise their learning outcomes while focusing on the development of respect, cooperation, responsibility and leadership Refer to the School Map for the different locations around the College.
