Students study in the fields of Reading Writing Talking and Listening Literature and Mass Media
They will read widely both in fiction and non fiction. More serious novels, short stories and other writing will be read, discussed and written about.
Students will have the opportunity to learn the kinds of writing that will be used in the adult world. They will also develop their creativity and prepare themselves for the senior school.
Students will have many opportunities to speak informally as well as learning formal methods of speaking.
They will be taught to analyse - film, television, advertising and the newspapers, both for language and content.
