Geography
is about people in their environment. It is about where things are and
why they are there. It looks at natural and cultural features in our
environment and how they influence each other.
By
providing skills in gathering and applying information about people in
relation to place, geography contributes to understanding the world.
Skills include making, reading and using maps and graphs.
